Cancer and its treatments seriously affect the quality of life of patients. Consequently, those undergoing cancer treatment suffer certain side effects, both physically and emotionally, that affect daily life and their relationships with family members. These effects are so important that, on many occasions, they can cause setbacks in the treatment of their disease, can cause their treatment to end prematurely or produce symptoms that complicate their recovery.

However, in spite of the effect on the lives of the patients, many do not verbalize what they feel, or only do so when asked because they believe it separate from their situation. For that reason symptoms associated with cancer processes are still often undiagnosed and largely untreated.

To improve the situation, at MD Anderson Foundation Spain we want to carry out a study to quantify the impact of cancer on the quality of life of patients. We want to listen, assess and analyze the needs of people with cancer so that, among other things, we can reduce the side effects of this disease. Would you like to help? Thanks to GivingTuesday, you can.

GivingTuesday is a global movement aiming to provide incentives and multiply good actions through donations. For that reason we have shared our project QUALITY OF LIFE on their website.

Using the hashtag #GivingTuesday as a way to get our project onto social networks, you can encourage your friends and family to contribute on this world donation day, held every year on the first Tuesday of December.

We work to improve the quality of life of people with cancer during and after the disease. With your helpwe can do it.
