Con el objetivo de aclarar qué procesos tiene que seguir el Servicio de Farmacia Hospitalaria de un hospital para disponer finalmente de un fármaco para su administración a los pacientes que lo necesiten, MD Anderson Cancer Center Madrid y la Fundación Jiménez Díaz han organizado un preceptorship formativo para todos aquellos profesionales que deseen profundizar en estos aspectos. El curso, que se ha celebrado el lunes 1 y el martes 2 de octubre en la sede de MD Anderson Madrid, ha estado liderado por el doctor Enrique Grande, jefe del Servicio de Oncología Médica de MD Anderson Madrid, y por la doctora Raquel Sánchez, jefa del Servicio de Farmacia Hospitalaria de MD Anderson Madrid.

The Spanish Cancer Association (AECC) has granted aid worth one million euros in five years to an advanced endometrial cancer research project involving five cooperative clinical and basic research groups, among which is MD Anderson Foundation Spain, led by Dr. Gema Moreno-Bueno, Senior Advisor at the Translational Research Laboratory at MD Anderson Foundation Spain.

Last Thursday, September 20 and Friday, September 21 MD Anderson Cancer Center Madrid, in collaboration with Pfizer, organized a preceptorship focused on the clinical management of neuroendocrine tumors. With the main objective of highlighting these tumors and looking at the new challenges faced by health professionals dedicated to this discipline, Dr. Enrique Grande, head of the Medical Oncology Service at MD Anderson Madrid, has led the conference accompanied by other experts in the field like Dr. Gema Moreno, head of the Translational Research Laboratory, or Dr. Juan Jose Diez, head of the Endocrinology Service at the Puerta de Hierro University Hospital.
